New STEALTH Feature – Beta Testers Wanted

General, Resources, Tech Issues No Comments »
On a recent blog post on my main site I spoke about some fantastic niche training by my friend Joel Peterson. Joel has built an army of “Money-Making Websites” that make between $75,000 to $125,00 per month. Yes, that’s EACH MONTH. (His best month has been $253,741.99!) While InstantNicheMaker gives you the power to create a professional looking niche site in about 30 seconds, how do you monetize it? Should you sell digital product? Should you sell physical product? Affiliate Marketing? eBay Affiliate links? Adsense? I recently watched every second of Joel’s incredible video training. …The Man KNOWS his stuff. Joel is a great teacher and his info is accurate and top rate. Double thumbs up and HIGHLY recommended. We’ve started implementing and automating many of his techniques he teaches in this course. Stealth Websites One new ability we’re looking to add is the ability to make stealth websites. That is you’ll be able to host your sites in a way that they are associated with your domain and your IP address, disassociated from TopSiteNow.com Why would someone want to do this? There are various reasons. Some members don’t want to share the secret to their success with others. They are afraid that if people find out how easy it is to create an InstantNicheMaker.com site they might invite unwanted competition. How it Works You simply FTP 2 files to your web host. You make a few changes to one of the files and instantly your website will be “hosted” on your domain with your web host server IP address. What You Need:
  1. You must be a Platinum member.
  2. You need to be have a hosting account. For example, HostGator, 1and1, or my own hosting company.
  3. You need to get a domain and have that setup on your own web host. (See tutorial videos on doing that)
  4. Once you can visit your web domain and see the default web page then you simply FTP over the files and change the configuration.
If that seems confusing, then you may need to get someones help. For a modest fee you can hire us to do this work for you. What It WILL Do. Once your stealth website is activated, your niche site will look like it’s hosted on your own IP from your own domain. What It WON’T Do.
  • You can use this method with your own domain OR use Domain Mapping. We will still offer Domain Mapping for Gold & Platinum members, but Stealth hosting will only be available to Platinum members.
  • This does not replace your Instant Niche Maker hosting fee. If you don’t pay your Instant Niche Maker hosting fee, then your stealth site shuts down too.
  • This will not allow you to “flip” or sell your site. See the reason above.
Beta Testers Wanted Before we roll this out to all users, we are looking for a small number of beta testers. To qualify you must:
  • Understand web hosting, FTP, domains, name servers, and all the fun techy stuff.
  • Be able to get this going without requiring technical assistance.
  • Be willing to put in a support ticket to tell us how it’s working for you and report any glitches or problems.
Interested In Trying It Out? Simply open a support ticket telling us you want to be a beta tester and we’ll send you the files and instructions. NOTE: You MUST be a Platinum member both to test and use the stealth feature. More Cool Stuff Coming: This is just the start of several powerful features we’ll be adding to Instant Niche Maker. Like what?? Hint: How would you like a tool that automatically makes blog entries for you? Stay tuned! ..Mike

eBay Partner Network – Steps To Help You Get Approved

General No Comments »
Some members report have reported problems getting signed up with the eBay Partner Network. I was talking with my buddy Steve Lindhorst (who was an official eBay trainer), and he was sharing some insight into the matter. He was saying how each account is hand approved (or hand disapproved) Since niche sites are fairly equivalent, a lot of it is based on the options you choose when applying. He posted an article in his newsletter entitled: How To Get Approved by eBay Partner Network It’s worth reading. If you’re one of the members who has been disapproved, you may want to do the following:
  1. Read Steve’s article above.
  2. Make a NEW Niche Site and put it on it’s own domain, instead of using the free YourDomain.TopSiteBlog.com format. Some reviewers could feel that if you’re not willing to spend $1.99 for a .info, or $9.95 for a .com domain then you really aren’t serious in committing to this website.
  3. Add at LEAST 10 Blog posts. This is the case where more is better!

They should be dated between 1 – 3 days apart, and make them at least 300 words long. You can even back date them to make your site look older! ;-) Although the BEST content is something you wrote yourself, these posts can be articles you’ve found at sites like EzineArticles, Article City, and GO Articles You could even do some product reviews. Use Deal-Finder to find items for sale that match your niche and use the information to write a review. Even include the different prices using your Deal-Finder links. You can search for news that fits your niche and rewrite it in your own words. The point is this: Make sure you have good content BEFORE applying to EPN!
  4. If you were rejected already you may want to get a new email address. You can go to Gmail.com, or LIVE.com to get a free one, but a non-free one is better to use. So if you have a domain hosted somewhere, an email from that would be better to use.
  5. Turn off Google Adsense by going into your Site Settings and removing your “Adsense Pub ID”. Once you hear back from EPN, you can reactivate it. The impression that you want to give EPN is that you are building a site to share quality information, not just make $$$.
  6. Re apply following Steve’s advice and submitting using your NEW email address and NEW niche site. Once you get approved for your first site, it’s smooth sailing from there on! It would be great to leave a comment on Steve’s site, and could you also put in a support ticket to let us know how well it worked?
Also remember that eBay Partner Network is NOT the only game in town. If you are having problems getting accepted by EPN, don’t fret. Give your site a little time to get established and grow. There are a bunch of other ways to monetize your site. That’s the beauty of having multiple streams of income! :-)

Better SPAM Control

General No Comments »
Some members have reported an increase in SPAM comments being left at their blog. That’s Good News & Bad News! :-) The Good news is that you are being found in the search engines and getting more traffic! :-) The Bad news is that people are leaving you SPAM comments instead of clicking on ads and buying stuff! :-( Now it’s not 100% possible to delete all SPAM. Since MOST SPAM is left by computer bots that automatically try to leave a SPAM comment this is much easier to trap Our new Anti-SPAM technology should block nearly all of the computer bot SPAM. A minority of SPAM is hand posted by individuals. We use CAPTCHA technology where the human visitor has to type a special word. Let us know how it works out for you, either by leaving a comment or putting in a support ticket.
