What is the official Joker trailer URL?

The official Joker trailer URL is the video page published by Warner Bros. Pictures on its verified YouTube channel, plus the copy embedded on the film's official website. The 2019 movie has two: a teaser trailer from April 2019 and a final trailer from August 2019. Each one sits at a separate address, and both are free to watch.

Search results for Joker trailer mix studio uploads with re-uploads, reaction videos, and fake pages. The URL you want carries the Warner Bros. name, a checkmark next to the channel handle, and a publish date that matches the film's marketing window.

Where the official Joker trailers are hosted

Warner Bros. controls distribution for the Joker films, so every legit trailer URL traces back to a studio-owned account or page.

Warner Bros. Pictures on YouTube

The main upload lives on the Warner Bros. Pictures YouTube channel. That channel holds both 2019 Joker trailers and the trailers for Joker: Folie à Deux, the 2024 sequel. Use the search box inside the channel page rather than general YouTube search, which pulls in thousands of copies.

The official movie website

Warner Bros. keeps a film page for each release, and those pages embed the same trailer videos. A trailer that plays inside the studio page is the same file as the YouTube upload. If a site asks you to install a player or a codec before the video starts, close the tab.

Studio social accounts

Warner Bros. and the cast posted trailer links on X, Facebook, and Instagram during each campaign. Those posts point back to the YouTube upload, so they work as a second confirmation of the same address.

How to check a Joker trailer URL is real

  • Channel name: Warner Bros. Pictures, with a verification checkmark.
  • Upload date: April 2019 or August 2019 for the first film, April 2024 or later for the sequel.
  • Title: Joker Teaser Trailer or Joker Final Trailer, never FULL MOVIE or LEAKED.
  • Description: studio boilerplate with cast names and a release date.
  • Player: the standard YouTube or studio page player, with no pop-up asking for a download.

Joker trailer release timeline

  • Teaser trailer: April 3, 2019, about two minutes long, built around the Smile song and the subway scene.
  • Final trailer: August 28, 2019, ahead of the October 4, 2019 theatrical release.
  • Sequel teaser: April 2024, for Joker: Folie à Deux, which opened on October 4, 2024.

Older trailers stay online after a film leaves theaters. A 2019 upload with millions of views is normal and does not mean the video was re-posted.

What each Joker trailer shows

The April 2019 teaser sets the tone without plot. It opens on Arthur Fleck at his mother's apartment, moves through the subway shooting, and ends with the talk show entrance. The August 2019 final trailer adds Robert De Niro as Murray Franklin, the Arkham scenes, and more of the clown makeup.

Watching both in order gives you the marketing arc. The 2019 campaign showed less than three minutes of a 122-minute movie.

Joker trailer vs Joker: Folie à Deux trailer

The sequel trailers lean on music and on Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn. The 2019 clips sell a character study. The 2024 clips sell a musical.

If you land on a clip with singing, a courtroom, and a dance number, you are on the sequel page, not the 2019 one.

Why fake Joker trailer URLs spread

Trailer searches draw huge traffic, and that traffic is worth money to ad farms. A fake page copies the thumbnail, adds a fake play button, then serves pop-ups or a survey wall. Some push a file download that installs unwanted software.

The pattern is easy to spot. Real trailer pages load fast, play in the browser, and never ask for a credit card, a login, or a plugin. No studio has ever charged money for a trailer.

FAQ

Is the Joker trailer on a streaming service URL?

Trailers do not live on Netflix, Max, or Prime as standalone titles. Those services carry the full film, not the promo clips. Use the studio channels for trailers.

Can I download the Joker trailer from its URL?

YouTube does not offer a download button for studio uploads, and third-party downloaders break the terms of service. Screen recording for personal use is the common workaround, but the clean path is to watch it on the official page.

How long are the Joker trailers?

The 2019 teaser runs about two minutes and twenty seconds. The final trailer runs about two minutes and thirty seconds. The sequel teaser runs just over two minutes.

Which Joker trailer URL should I share?

Share the Warner Bros. YouTube upload. It is stable, loads on phones, and carries nothing beyond the standard YouTube pre-roll.

Keeping the search safe

Start at the studio channel, not at a general search engine. Copy the URL from the address bar once the video plays, and check that the domain ends in youtube.com or warnerbros.com. Anything else is a copy you do not need.

Bookmark the real page once. Trailer URLs from major studios rarely change, so the saved link keeps working for years.
